What is Microneedling?
Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a treatment for the skin that promotes collagen production, helping the skin to appear healthier and more youthful. Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF)
PRF utilizes a patient’s own blood to stimulate healing and tissue regeneration. It involves centrifuging a blood sample to separate the platelets, white blood cells, and fibrin from the red blood cells. The resulting PRF matrix is rich in growth factors and cytokines, which promote natural healing processes. When PRF is combined with microneedling you can achieve plumper, more youthful appearing skin.
What to Expect
Prior to your treatment, numbing cream is applied making Microneedling a painless procedure. Downtime is minimal, with the skin looking red from 2-4 days. Flaking may be present but makeup can generally be worn the next day. After a week, the skin will have a beautiful glow and results will continue to improve for 3-6 months as collagen builds.

Some patients only require a single treatment, once per year to achieve optimal results. However, it is recommended for most patients to receive a series of 2-3 treatments spaced about 4 weeks apart. For patients with deep wrinkles, advanced photo-aging, stretch marks or acne scars it is recommended to receive 6-8 sessions at 4-week intervals.
